Pamela_P is a luxury handbag brand conceptualized and designed in London.

Designer Moni was first introduced to design by her mother (and brand namesake), Pamela Percival, the 2nd generation in a family of tailors of South American descent. Pamela made Moni and her two sisters clothes and dancing outfits when they were children. Inspired, Moni made clothes for her dolls before moving onto making dresses for her sisters during the endless summer holidays of childhood.

Her skills were further developed at Middlesex University where she studied for her BA (Hons) degree in Fashion & Textiles. Born in London her design career began in her final year of studies. She designed her inimitable Jax Sax which was snapped up by Paul Smith, Duffer of St George and the fashion mecca Jones, on the Kings Road. She then established herself as a vital force in contemporary design enjoying a career designing ladies wear under her own label, selling to stores such as Browns Focus, London; Barneys, New York and outlets throughout Japan.

Moni’s vast experience in pattern cutting and construction,  informs her work and enables the execution of the organic, bulbous forms of the Pamela_P range. She envisioned the fusion of, traditional leather craftsmanship and her extensive fashion/textiles background, which would together result in a brand identity that defined her unique vision and particular taste.
